HR Generalist

Work Location: Irving, TX, US.

Position Summary:

Pixentia is looking for a dynamic, energetic and organized HR Generalist.

Ideal candidate is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the entire team in supporting the organization’s goals and objectives.

This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/talent acquisition, affirmative action and employment law compliance, recordkeeping, filing and departmental administrative duties.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures
  • Assists in the implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Participates in developing team/department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Monitors the performance evaluation program and provides data analysis as requested.
  • Facilitates new hire orientation and conducts local on-boarding for new hires, transfers and contract employees.
  • Administers Service Awards and other employee recognition programs.
  • Maintains affirmative action program; files reports and maintains records and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Ensures company is in full compliance with all regulatory compliance postings and communications including but not limited to EEO, Anti-Harassment, Labor Laws etc.
  • Assists with job evaluations, recruitment, selection, negotiation, new hire processes and on-boarding needs.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Supports and participates in process improvement and performance management.
  • Provides support to the design and implementation of large and small scale HR initiatives (i.e., roll out annual programs, new programs/policies, etc.).
  • Supports change management and employee engagement efforts.
  • Works with team to manage employee issues by mediating conflicts, conducting investigations and reaching appropriate resolutions
  • Provides administrative support to the Director-Human Resources.

Skills/Requirements:
  • Require relevant US equivalent Master or Bachelor degree with/without experience. In lieu of Master degree, we will accept Bachelor degree with five years’ experience.
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to resolve employee issues with professionalism and sensitivity
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to multi task and stay organized in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Capable of analyzing data and providing recommendations based on that analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint as required)
