People Technology Implementation Analyst

Position Summary:

This position is responsible to effectively support Pixentia’s clients in implementing, managing and administering Human Resources, Learning (LMS) and Talent management systems, as well as research, recommend, and integrate complementary technologies into the client's HR landscape.

  • Assist implementation teams in determining the customer’s goals and target achievements. Offer some real examples that may address these goals, thus demonstrating an understanding of the customer’s needs.
  • Document customer’s desired business process and identify functionality gaps; utilize teams expertise to ensure all gaps are identified; work with Project Manager to develop strategies to address identified functionality gaps.
  • Develop solutions to the customer that maximize the functionality of their HR, Learning and Talent applications ensure the successful launch, adjusting configuration as needed.
  • Effectively explain, describe, or convey ideas in individual and group situations, including adjusting language and detail to the needs of the audience to ensure that complex messages have been accurately understood.
  • Assist customer in defining, developing, and implementing new business processes (including planning and executing a transition to new processes), recommending improvements to existing processes to meet customer’s specific business goals.
  • Elicit customer requirements, document, define and specify functional, operational, business performance and/or acceptance requirements for the system.
  • Interpret customer requirements to identify unrealized or undiscovered requirements
  • Deliver process or training workshops.
  • Test or facilitate the testing of learning and talent projects to ensure effective deployment in the LMS.
  • Work with project manager and technical teams on-shore and off-shore in defining and clarifying their operational and functional business requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, or similar field is preferred, though an Associate’s degree with suitable relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Experience in Workday® or SumTotal Learning & Talent is a plus.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills (e.g., setting expectations, negotiation, issues resolution, escalation as appropriate), with an ability to keep customers informed and resolve their concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to execute timely and effective implementations.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Experience with Visio, MS Project or other flow-charting tools.
  • Ability to travel on short notice.
